Sample answer: I would speak to my fellow officer one on one. I would explain to him that while he sleeps, the rest of us are out there running calls and picking up his slack. I would ask him if there are any issues outside of work that are causing him to be so tired when he comes in. If there is something outside of work that is causing him to be so tired, it could affect his performance and his safety. I would make it clear to him that the other officers are counting on him to stay awake and pull his weight in the patrol area.
